The Clear Creek ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the 2026-2027 Academic Calendar during the Regular Meeting on December 15, 2025.

The approved calendar, which was draft “1” during the voting process, has school beginning on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 6th grade and 9th grade and Wednesday, August 12, 2025, for all other grades. School will end before the Memorial Day holiday on Thursday, May 20, 2027. The approved draft also offers a dedicated fall break from October 9-13.  

Out of the 6,654 responses, this calendar received the most total votes amongst parents and staff out of the two drafts available. The calendar options were developed to reflect state mandates and align closest with other local school districts and colleges where students complete dual credit and college coursework.
